<i>Poramboku</i> to can three more songs

Barring the canning of three songs, the entire shoot of Poramboku is complete. Directed by Srinivas and produced by Krishna Reddy under the Tollywood Cinema banner. The lead roles are being played by Navadeep and Ekta Khosla. Presently, the shooting is going on at a brisk pace at Annapurna Studios. Director Srinivas says, 'In Telugu Poramboku means a useless fellow. But there is nothing which is useless in this world. Every man has some talent or the other . Once he realizes what the world is going to gain through his talent, he should set a target for himself. Once he fixes the target he would strive to achieve it. We are making efforts to prove that nothing is useless in this world through our hero Navadeep. I was able to mould the subject the way I had it in my mind onto the screen with the active cooperation from the producer and other unit members besides the artistes.'

Producer Krishna Reddy says, 'The film revolves round a youth, who lives aimlessly and who eventually turns into a hero to achieve the goal set by his mother. The movie shows how he reached it. Both the characters played by Navdeep and Ekta Khosla would attract the audiences. Manisharma, who gave melodious tunes to the songs which are situation-oriented would be another highlight. We are planning to choreograph two songs abroad. We will release the audio in November and the film in January. We are very confident that the film would be a big hit as it has a good message besides providing good entertainment.' Hero Navadeep says, 'The character in this film would remain a milestone in my film career and promote me. There would be a definite good response to my character in this film.' Ekta Khosla says, 'This is my debut film in Telugu and I am very glad that I was able to secure a role which had good scope to perform right in my first film in Telugu'.
