<i>Vihari</i> shooting begins

The shooting of Vihari directed by Tulasikumar R and produced by Prabhakar G and Mahesh on the banner of Dasami Creations with Mithun and Polin in the lead was launched at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. SJ Surya switched on the camera and VV Vinayak gave the clap for the muhurat shot picturised on hero and heroine under the honorary direction of EVV Satyanarayana. Director Tulasikumar says, 'This is my second film as director. After a long time, Ramani Bharadwaj is providing music for a Telugu film. It is the story of a girl who reaches India from the US and gets fascinated at the Indian traditions and culture. Hero is playing the role of a tourist guide.

Hero Mithun says,I played hero in four Tamil films, two Kannada films and presently I am playing the hero in 'Akasa Ganga' in Kannada.' Music director Ramani Bharadwaj says, 'I am working for a Telugu film after a long gap from 'Dongata'. There are five songs and they would be in western as well as Indian languages.' Heroine Polin says, 'I earlier played in films from Spain and France and this is my first film in Telugu.' One of the producers Prabhakar says, 'I am staying in the US for the past 20 years and faced certain typical situations. I am trying to reveal my experiences through this film.' Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Sunil, Krishna Bhagawan, Satyam Rajesh, Ravikanth, Yousuf, Sudeepa and others are in the cast. Dialogues are by Ramaswamy.
