birthday

a
function
was
held
on

19
at
his
residence.
A
meeting
was
arranged
on
the
occasion
and
Akkineni
Nageswara
Rao
handed
over
the
Adurthi
Subba
Rao
Memorial
Award
instituted
by
him
to
noted
director
K
Viswanath
and
Akkineni
Puraskaram
to
senior
journalist
Turlapati
Kutumba
Rao.
Dr
KV
Krishnakumari
was
also
felicitated
to
mark
the
completion
of
50
years
as
a
writer.
Dr
Akkineni
remembered
his
association
with
the
three
awardees
and
complimented
them.
It

be
mentioned
here
that
Akkineni
played
the
hero
in
the
debut
film
of
K
Viswanath
and
it
was
Turlapati
Kutumba
Rao,
who
awarded
Akkineni
the
title
'Nata
Samrat'
some
50
years
ago.
