CC Reddy, who turned 70 recently, bats for setting up a forum for safeguarding the interests of the small producers. He said that the small producers and small budget films are finding it difficult to find distributors and theaters to run their films. He wants to set up a guild and seek government assistance for small producers.

He said that even though he is in a position to produce big budget films, he is concentrating on small budget films in a bid to encourage small artists and technicians. He also added that all his films would be clan family entertainers without overdose of fights and obscenity.
