Himesh, Ileana in an all-new Karz

Remember that Rishi Kapoor starrer blockbuster movie Karz, which dealt with the novel subject of reincarnation and redemption, which swayed the masses to the extent that it got registered in the annals of Hindi cinema as a milestone movie? The lilting tunes of Laxmikant-Pyarelal are hummed even today by their adoring fans.

Now, that Subhash Ghai classic from the eighties is being remade by actor director Satish Kaushik. Himesh Reshamiyya and Telugu sensation Ileana will play the lead roles in this remake. Urmila Matondkar will play a special role in this flick.

Himesh Reshamiyya is undergoing a makeover for his role in this film, which is being produced by T-Series, and will not don is infamous cap for now. He will attempt to steal the thunder by composing songs befitting the evergreen ones composed for the original Karz by veterans Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
