Rudra shooting started

The shooting of Rudra was kicked off day before yesterday. The film has Kiran Tej, Rajiv Kanakala and Chahat playing lead roles. Gosangi Subba Rao is directing the flick. Srinivas Paidala is the film's producer and he is producing the film under the Bittu Art Productions banner. The films lauched its first shooting schedule at Annapurna Studios.

Dr. Akkineni Nageshwara Rao gave the first clap while the first scene was shot under the honorary direction of the director EVV Satyanarayana. SV Krishna Reddy turned the camera on. Producer Srinivas Paidala said, "After observing Gosangi Subba Rao, we decided to have him direct Rudra for us. He has directed earlier film like Bhavani, Sivudu and Manamiddaram."

He added, "Chakri is composing the music for the film. KV Krishna Reddy is the film's editor. We are making the film to be a commercial production which will attract the classes and the masses." The film's hero Kiran Tej said, "I am very happy to shoot once again for a Bittu Productions film. My debut film was made under the same banner. Chakri has given wonderful music for the film's songs. I am very excited about working with senior artiste's."

The film executive producer T Harikumar said, "The films regular shooting will begin August 6th onwards. The first schedules of the film's shooting will be a nonstop 32 days schedule. It will end on September 10th. Then there will be another schedule of shooting for the talkie part of the film and the songs, which will be held abroad. The film will be released in December."

Director Gosangi Subba Rao said, 'The film is about our education system has been ruined. The film's hero changes this system as is required. Along with this there are the commercial highlights of the story – love and the sentimental scenes. We hope that this combination oaf these qualities will make the film appealing to all classes of the audience. The other hero Rajiv Kanakala is playing the role of a journalist."

Chandramohan, MS Narayana, Sivaji Raja, Ali, Pradeep Rawat, Rajan P Dev, Duvvasi Mohan, Chinna, Chitram Basha, Babloo, Shakeela, Apoorva are also in the cast. The films script is written by Varikuti Sivaprasad and lyrics by Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar and Kandikonda. The action sequences in the film will be choreographed by Ram-Lakshman. Subba Rao Gosangi will handle the story, screenplay and direction. Srinivas Paidala will handle the film's cinematography and production. Anjali Paidala will present the film.
