Paruthi Veeran coming to Telugu

Tamil and Telugu film industry have an excellent exchange formula. Most of the films that become hits in Tamil are eventually remade in Telugu and vice versa.

Tamil film Paruthi Veeran starring Karthi and Priya Mani has become a box office blockbuster. The film marked the debut Surya's brother Karthi. It also was a relaunch of sorts for Priya Mani.

There is lot of interest in Tollywood about the film. Unlike other Tamil hits, this wasn't dubbed and released in Telugu, so the potential for its remake in Telugu is huge. Samudra is most likely to direct the film in Telugu.

Nagarjuna's Don is still in the making, but the film has become the center of attraction for regular Tamil remakers like Vijay. But Vijay isn't going to rush and buy the remake rights until he sees the film's fate at the box office.
