Pawan Kalyan aims to recreate Khushi success

Power star Pawan Kalyan will move on to his next project Puli after finishing with his present one with Trivikram Srinivas. At present he is acting in Satyagrahi with none other than the glamourous Ileana. The star has been without a big hit for seven years. His last hit was Khushi, which was a trendsetter by any standards. Despite his failure to deliver in the past seven years, he still has a huge fan following which includes Trisha. The actress has supposedly said that she has a crush on the star.

His next film will be Puli with actor director SJ Suryah. Music composer AR Rahman has been roped in to do the music for the film. He has paid the composer 2 crore to compose the music for the film. The director earlier had tried to get Ilayathalapathy Vijay to play the role that Pawan Kalyan has signed for. But differences developed due to the different directions that both Vijay and SJ Suryah wanted to go with the film. Plus Pawan Suryah directed Khushi too. So it is expected that Puli with a Pawan Kalyan - SJ Suryah combination will be as big a hit as Khushi.
