distribution
rights
of
Shankar
Dada
Zindabad
(SDZ),
the
Telugu
remake
of
Hindi
hit
film
Lage
Raho
Munnabhai.
Directed
by
Prabhu
Deva
and
produced
on
the
banner
of
Gemini
Film
Circuits,
this
Telugu
version
has
Padma
Bhushan
megastar
Dr
Chiranjeevi
and
Karishma
Kotak
in
the
lead
roles.
The
film
also
has
Srikanth
in
the
role
of
ATM.
Another
specialty
of
the
film
is
that
Pawan
Kalyan
is
playing
the
character
played
by
Abhishek
Bachchan
in
the
original
while
Sada
plays
the
role
of
Dia
Mirza
and
Sayaji
Shinde
plays
the
role
of
Boman
Irani.
Actor
Dilip
Prabhavalkar,
who
played
the
role
of
Mahatma
Gandhi
in
the
original
will
play
the
same
in
the
remake
version
too.
E-City
Films
has
acquired
the
regional
distribution
fights
for
sub-territories
Vizag,
Krishna
and
Guntur
which
forms
part
of
coastal
Andhra
and
comprises
of
29
per
cent
of
the
total
state
market.
This
is
the
first
regional
and
largest
ever
distribution
rights
acquired
by
E-City
Films.
It
seems
to
smell
the
potential
of
Telugu
market
and
is
looking
forward
to
acquire
three
to
four
big
banner
films
this
year.
In
addition
to
the
aggressive
interest
shown
towards
regional
movie
distribution,
E-City
Films,
will
also
focus
on
distributing
quality
Hindi
and
English
films
in
Gujarat,
Nizam,
Delhi,
UP
and
Mumbai.
