Suman chooses the bad

Suman was a very busy actor decades ago. Until Shivaji happened, he was relegated to playing an occasional role in a devotional film.

That is now going to change after his phenomenal performance in Shivaji. Initially, there was a feeling that he wasn't able to quite match Rajinikanth's flamboyance on the screen. But gradually, the image changed because the audience began to get used to his kind of silent and understated villainy.

Now, Suman is basking in the glory of a powerful comeback. There are talks that he's soon going to be the villain no.1 in South Indian film industry, which is now desperately looking for an actor to convincingly portray negative roles.

"I think I won't be playing God for a while," he declares.
