She is a beauty with brain. She has the look and talent. She is ambitious and hardworking. She makes a good definition of beauty. That is Trisha for you.
Yes, Trisha is the queen of young hearts in South India. She declared her arrival in style by winning Miss Saleem and Miss Chennai titles in 1999. She then won Miss India Miss Beautiful Smile in 2001. like any other beauty queens, she jumped into films at the first opportunity. She played a cameo role in Jodi but it was Priyadarshan's Leysa Leysa that portrayed her as a heroine.
Failure struck her hard during the initial stage of her dream career with films like Manasellam and Alai failing terribly at the box-office. However, her performance in Mounam Pesiyadhe won her critical acclaims. Then Saamy and Ghilli rescued her when she was at the crossroads. Today, she is the ultimate number 1 heroine down south with so many hit films in Tamil and Telugu. Some of her hit films includes Varsham, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana and Something Something Unnakum Ennakum.
She had had her share of failures but she never gave up. Films like Aathi, Aaru and Pournami bombed at the box-office but she struck back with Stalin, which has Chiranjeevi in the lead. Then Sainikudu followed. The present aura around her is pleasant too. She had recently replaced Rani Mukherjee as the Brand Ambassador of Fanta India. She is currently acting with Venkatesh in Selvaraghavan's new Telugu film Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule. She also has three Tamil projects namely Bheema with Vikram, Kireedam with Ajith and Sathyam with Vishal.
The good news is that she is going strong with offers still flooding in. In fact, her best is yet to come. Well, this stunning beauty must be in partying mood at the moment, as today is her birthday. So, let's wish her success and happiness in life.
Happy birthday to you Trisha!!!
