Dasavatharam to hit screen by May-end

Final touches are being made for the prestigious film of Kamal Hassan, Dasavatharam directed by KS Ravikumar and produced by Oscar V Ravichandran under the banner of Oscar Films Pvt Ltd, at a whopping budget of Rs 70 crores. The film is most likely to hit the screen by the end of May. Bollywood Sex Bomb Mallika Sherawat played a key role in this movie. Especially the pole dance done by her would remain a highlight of the movie.

Director said, "We debated several issues right from the Chidambaram temple's history to the most discussed topic like George Bush. Kamal Hassan sported 10 different characters in the film relating to 10 different times. We erected sets to suit that particular period."

Co-producer D Ramesh Babu said, "We are planning to release the film simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. Kamal Hassan did complete justice to all the roles. The film evokes very good entertainment."

Jayaprada, KR Vijaya, Napoleon, Nagesh and others are in the cast. Music is by Himesh Reshammiya, background score is by Devisri Prasad, while camera is by Ravi Varman.
