Kantri's release delayed

The release of Kantri, starring NTR Jr. and Hansika, has been delayed. Previously, the movie, directed by Meher Ramesh and produced by Chalasani Aswini Dutt under Vyjayanti Movies banner, was planned to be released on May 7th.

It is reliably learnt that the delay is due some technical reasons. Also Aswini Dutt's biggest hit, Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari, was released on May 9th last year. Since Tollywood is known for superstitious sentiments, this might have prompted the producer to delay the release by two days.

Tanisha, Bollywood heroine Kajol's sister, is debuting into Telugu films with Kantri. Manisharma's music for Kantri is getting a good response for the public.

Now the delay in release makes Kantri even more highly-anticipated.
