Krishna Bhagawan, who moved from being comedian to hero, paired up with Simran for John Apparao 40 plus. After that, he was the hero along with others for some more films. Again he got an opportunity to play solo hero. It is well-known that the character Appa Rao 'Gireesam' in Gurajada's Kanya Sulkam, is very popular. (Those of a cunning nature are called Gireesam.)
Now, noted detective novel writer Viswa Prasad is turning director with the movie for his story called Mr Gireesam in which the hero demonstrates Gireesam character.
The film would be formally launched on June 6. The speciality of the film is that Ramya Krishna, glamorous heroine of yesteryears, is making her appearance on the big screen after a long gap. She has agreed to play the heroine in this film to be produced by SV Creations.
