The
buzz
about
Naga
Chaitanya's
debut
has
been
making
the
rounds
for
a
long
time
now.
But
Nagarjuna
has
kept
mum
on
the
whole
issue,
first
promoting
his
nephews
Sushant
and
Sumanth,
doing
everything
to
smoothen
their
entry
into
filmdom.
Then
when
it
was
clear
that
Naga
Chaitanya
was
actually
going
to
be
launched,
speculations
started
about
who
would
launch
this
much-awaited
star
son.
At
first,
everyone
thought
Puri
Jagannath,
who
launched
the
likes
of
Chiranjeevi's
son,
Ram
Charan
Teja,
would
be
the
director,
but
with
Puri
busy
till
the
end
of
2009,
this
was
not
to
be.
Now
Vasu
Varma
has
been
finalized
as
Chaitanya's
debut
director
and
Dil
Raju
will
be
the
producer.
For
a
while,
A.R.
Rehman
was
under
consideration
as
music
director,
but
now
sources
say
that
Sandeep
Chowta
will
be
the
music
director,
but
no
official
confirmation
was
given
out.
The
reason
for
Chowta"s
inclusion
is
that
Nagarjuna
wanted
to
avoid
a
lot
of
hype
as
Rehman
is
more
famous,
almost
an
institution,
and
the
producers
wanted
to
avoid
a
lot
of
hype
which
could
put
even
more
pressure
on
the
debutant,
from
whom
a
lot
is
already
being
expected.
Naga
Chaitanya
has
received
training
in
dialogue
modulation,
dances
and
fights
at
Mumbai
and
London
in
some
of
the
most
elite
acting
schools
with
some
of
the
best
coaches
in
preparation
for
his
much-awaited
debut.
September
20,
the
birthday
of
ANR,
is
considered
an
auspicious
date
for
the
whole
Akkineni
clan,
so
Naga
Chaitanya's
film
is
set
to
launch
on
September
20th.
