Vijay IPS to wipe out police department

Sumanth plays the hero in Vijay IPS produced by Nattikumar under the banner of Visakha Talkies introducing K Hanumantha Reddy as director. The film is slated for release on November 7. Director says, “A youth joins the police department with lots of ideas and many ideals. However, he comes to a stage that there should be no police department. Then only there would be some change in the mindset of the people. Sumanth plays a powerful police officer's role that people should themselves safeguard from the anti-social elements instead of depending on the police. Through his character we are giving a message to the society that it is the people who should cleanse the corrupt political system."
