Bhumika Chawla, 'no' to politics

Whatever film stars do attracts quite a lot of attention. They seem to take it in their stride, as they know this is the price they have to pay for their stardom. But people speculating about their actions and reasons in their absence rattle their nerves at times. Recently, Bhumika was extremely alarmed when people misconstrued she was affiliated to Telugu Desam because she inaugurated a blood bank owned by them! Immediately, the beautiful actress denied these allegations vehemently and made sure her name was not associated with any political party.

“I am interested in social work. That is the reason I inaugurated the blood bank for them and not because I am interested to join their party. I am not at all interested in politics in the first place. I will never get involved in it," said Bhumika. The funny part is that the media even misreported that she will soon start campaigning for Telugu Desam!

At present, Bhumika Chawla is acting in Naa Style Verule and Maa.
