Sumanth's Boni with Green Mangoes

It is well aware that music director Ramana Gogula turned a producer and launched his own banner called 'Green Mangoes'. He had also announced a film with Sumanth as the hero under the direction of Raj Pippala. Shooting of the talkie part of the film was complete recently. The film unit announced the title of the film as 'Boni' to mark the occasion of Sumanth's birthday.

Akkineni Nageswara Rao unveiled the logo. He says, "My blessings will always be with Sumanth, Ramana Gogula and his team. The title sounds good."

Nagarjuna says, "In fact I should have worked with Ramana and director Raj long ago. The film is coming up with a director and producer who have good taste about film making. A film coming up in such combination would be a definite hit."

Producer and music director of the film Ramana Gogula remarked, "It is beautiful subject that has been laced with love and affection as the elements. Shooting of the talkie has been completed. Sumanth's performance is an asset to the movie. We have plans to release the film as a summer gift."

Ramanaidu, Lagadapati Sridhar, Anitha and others participated in the program.

The shooting of Boni was finished in a very quiet manner, away from media glare. Now the film's makers have decided to kick off the publicity with much fanfare, beginning with the film's title announcement.

The film's audio will be out in March while the film will hit theatres in April.
