Genelia is receiving praise from all quarters for her portrayal of
a naive girl who runs away from a forced marriage in Sasirekha
Parinayam. This Mumbai girl, who has found stardom in the South
film industry, has also made a successful entry into Bollywood.
Recently she said that Sasirekha Parinayam was a special film
for her and she was very lucky to have landed the role of
Sasirekha. Her experience with director Krishna Vamsi was very
cordial, so unlike what she was led to expect by many people.
Genelia was happy that she got the chance to work with a talented
director like Krishna Vamsi she was all praise for his eye for
detail and his lateral thinking when it came to setting up a
Genelia's boundless enthusiasm included her co-star Tarun. She
smilingly labelled him a brat and observed that he did not have any
airs or attitude unlike many other heroes.
