Popular producer Konda Krishnamraju, who had brought out films like Vijayendra Varma with Balakrishna and Sri Ramadasu with Nagarjuna is planning two new films this year.

Disclosing this to media, he said, "We are planning to shoot a film in a village in Thrissur district of Kerala for about 70 days from May 5. We are introducing a new director with the movie, while a popular hero would be in the lead, a new Telugu girl would make her debut as heroine. The story of the film was made as a parody to certain traditions of a particular village, which is never seen in any part of the world. Gauthamraju would edit this film. We will soon come up with more details about the artistes and technicians. Likewise, we have plans to produce one more heavy budget film with a top hero from November. Story is getting ready for this movie."

The shooting of the second film will begin only by the end of this year. Raju's two prominent films Sri Ramadasu and Vijayendra Verma had Nagarjuna and Balakrishna in the lead roles.
