Maa Nanna Chiranjeevi hit the screen in November

Post-production work is almost nearing completion for Maa Nanna Chiranjeevi (Antay Pedda Hero) directed by Arun Prasad, presented by Jayasri and produced by Jayasri under the banner of Laughing Lord Entertainment with Jagapati Babu, Neelima and Master Atulith in the lead.

Addressing the media at the Film Nagar Cultural Centre, director Arun Prasad said, “For every son, his father appears to be a big hero. It is quite common. Our film deals with one such father and son and their lovely attachment. The character played by the hero would have different emotions and at the same time there is a good amount of entertainment. Especially the scenes that come in the combination of Jagapati Babu and Atulith would touch the hearts of audiences. What a father does for his son has to be seen on the screen. While doing a huge commercial film like Pravarakhyudu on the one hand, our hero Jagapati Babu has done a concept movie like this and launched a new trend in the Tollywood."

Jagapati Babu says, “I have had a strong ambition to do this kind of concept films right from the beginning. My dream has come true now. It is a good film and would also prove as a big hit. Though my character faces so many problems personally, it appears smiling for others. It is basically a family drama between wife and husband and their son. The film is most likely to hit the screen in the second week of November."

Neelima says, “My character is a little heavy and had lot of scope for performance. Being a Telugu girl, I insisted and dubbed my own voice to my character."

Brahmanandam, Ali, MS Narayana, Jayaprakash Reddy, Benarjee, Satyam Rajesh, Chitram Sreenu, Munna Venu, Tirupati Prakash, Ram Jaan, Anant, Telangana Sakuntala, Jhansi, Sandhya Acharya, Ragini, Kalpana and others are in the cast. Music is by Hemachandra, camera is by Bharani K D haran, editing is by Baswa Paidireddy, art is by KV Ramana, action is by Ram-Lakshman, while story, screenplay and direction are by Arun Prasad.
