Magadheera scores a century

Magadheera , the biggest hit of South India by Geetha Arts has crossed its century. The film with the highest opening ever in the South collected 28 crore in the first week itself. Starring Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Aggarwal, the story is about reincarnation. The total gross for the film crossed 100 crores excluding satellite and audio rights.

Regarding hit films like Shivaji, Ghajini (also of Geetha Arts), it stands second to the latter whose gross is 200 crores.Shivaji reached 65 crores. The Producer Allu Aravind did made sure that no expenses for the film was spared. Geetha Arts has 29 films credited to it in various languages. Actor Chiranjeevi has done most of his films in the same banner.

The movie has unique visuals and Allu said that they were sure about the impact of the film but never expected such a success. So the victory belongs to the entire Telugu Cinema and Magadheera is said to be the pride of Telugu Cinema industry. Magadheera also has the credit of the biggest Regional hit in South India. The film was Directed by S S Rajamouli. And now after its long run its still celebrating its victory in theatres. Long way to go!
