Directed by S S Rajamouli and produced by Allu Arvind under Geetha Arts banner, Magadheera moves along the lines of an action-based romantic thriller. Shot mostly in Gujarat and Rajasthan, the movie also has Srihari in a key role in the movie.
Magadheera has also taken on a political angle with the Congress leaders not permitting midnight shows at Tirupati to curb the black-marketing of tickets. With the entry of Chiranjeevi into the picture there has been much hoopla surrounding the movie.
The police had seized labels of Magadheera earlier, during a raid, when they were kept ready for releasing the pirated version of the movies.
The much awaited Telugu movie Magadheera is jet set for a grand release tomorrow, the 31st of July with as many as 720 prints. The movie will hit nearly 1500 theatres in around 14 countries. With Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja and Kajal as the lead pair, Magadheera is centered around the curious notions of reincarnation and death.
