Taneesh, the hero in Mauna Ragam

Sri Saideva Productions, which brought out big hits like Subhakankshalu, Vasantham and Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule, planned another movie titled Mauna Ragam and the shooting of the film was formally launched at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad recently. Produced by NV Prasad and Sanam Naga Ashokkumar, the film will have Taneesh, who made his debut as hero through Nachavule, as hero, while Vijay Balaji is being introduced as director through this film. Popular director Sekhar Kammula switched on the camera, while minister Vatti Vasantakumar gave the clap for the muhurat shot.

Producers say, “All the films produced under our banner were liked by the audiences. Mouna Ragam would also be included in the list. It is really a heart touching story. We will launch the regular shooting from the second week of June and will complete the shooting by October."

Director says, “I gained experience by working with directors like Suresh Krishna. We are going to explain the value, clarity and transparency of love on the celluloid. There are six songs in the film and the recording of songs would begin next week."

Ali, Jeeva, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, MS Narayana, Narsing Yadav, Kamesh, Chennai Bharat, Jyothi, Rajasri, Hema and others are in the cast. Dialogues are by Chintapalli Ramana, music is by SA Rajkumar, camera is by Shaman Mitru, editing is by Gauthamraju while art is by Rajiv Nayar.
