The
producers" guild
has
decided
to
blacklist
ETV,
Gemini
TV
and
MAA
TV.
The
reason
is
that
the
council
had
requested
the
channels
to
telecast
the
trailers
of
the
soon
to
be
released
films
free
of
charge.
But
while
other
channels
had
agreed,
the
three
channels
refused
to
do
so.
The
producers" council
has
said
that
while
the
channels
make
the
rounds
of
the
offices
of
producers
and
takes
CDs
of
clipping
regarding
forthcoming
films
and
air
them
freely,
they
refuse
to
do
so
for
trailer.
The
council
has
also
asked
all
producers
to
stop
the
three
channels
from
attending
audio
release
functions
and
film
muhurats.
A
big
advertisement
was
released
in
the
papers
on
Sunday
in
this
regard.
