Puri Jagannath's son's noble gesture

It is well aware that Master Akash, son of director cum producer Puri Jagannath, is presently playing a key role in a film called Lotus Pond. The film is being directed by cinematographer turned director NG Vinda and the film is being made with a view to screen at the International Film Festival to portray the mindset of the students studying in boarding schools.

The film had completed its first schedule and the second schedule is likely to begin in August. Master Akash celebrated his birthday recently. During the function, Master Akash announced that he is donating his remuneration of Rs 12,500 from his debut film to the Vivekananda Orphan Children"s School at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad.

He said, “I am very happy to donate the money which I generally spend for my birthday party. I have also taken a decision to spare a part of my pocket money to educate some children." Reacting to his kind gesture, the Vivekananda Orphanage management and other elders blessed the boy for participating in such service activity right at a tender age.
