Shankar-Ehasaan-Loy on KIKK

Konchem Ishtam, Konchem Kashtam, also referred to as Konchem Ishtamga, Konchem Kashtamga (KIKK), produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) under Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner introduces director Kishore (Dolly). The film stars Siddharth and Tamanna in a very beautiful story of two families and how they come to accept their children's relationships.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have composed the music for this light-hearted entertainer. Being their debut Telugu album, everyone had some reservations about their ability to understand the psyche of the Telugu audiences. But as the talented trio could see the passion and drive in Bujji and Dolly, the musical trio decided to accept the project. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy took on the challenging task of making a Telugu film album that didn't sound totally like a Hindi film album and at the same time, they wanted it to be different from regular Telugu albums.

The musical trio feel that music has no language except the language of emotions which are expressed through musical notations. Also they reason that their musical notations are given voice by the lyricists who write the words for the songs. They have worked on many advertisement jingles in South India in the course of their career.

The trio works as a team though each has his individual strengths. Shankar is a good vocalist, Ehsaan is a guitarist and Loy is a pianist. Over the course of time, their strengths have merged and they have become a very good musical team.
