Allu Arjun pitted against Arya in Varudu

The film, being produced by DVV Danaiah under the banner of Universal Media under the direction of Gunasekhar with Allu Arjun as hero is being titled Varudu. Giving details, producer says, “The title 'Varudu" would suit at its best for our subject. We are thankful to Nallamalupu Srinivas for giving us this title. We are introducing a new face as heroine through this film. Tamil hero Arya is playing a negative role in this flick. The specialty of the film is that 100 real life families are acting in our film and we conducted a workshop after selecting these 100 families and we taught them on how to face the camera. The film is being made at a fast pace."

Suhasini, Naresh, Asish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde, Ahuti Prasad, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Vinay Prasad and others are in the cast. Music is by Manisharma, camera is by RD Rajasekhar, action is by Stun Siva, art is by Ashok, editing is by Anthony, while story, screenplay and direction are by Gunasekhar.
