Dasari's Young India with youthful exuberance

Dr Dasari Narayana Rao is holding special attention on his 149th film Young India which is being made with all new faces. He took it as a prestigious project and kept aside all his other activities and allocated his entire time for the film. He personally scripted the entire script in his own handwriting for the flick.

In his long-standing film career, he had introduced many new faces to the Telugu film industry and saw them in high pedestal. This time too, he is planning to select meritorious artistes for the sake of the Telugu film industry. He had got over 22,000 applications and scrutinized all of them. Finally, he selected 540 candidates and Dasari personally interviewed all of them. Again there was further screening of the list and 50 were selected finally as character artistes and 29 others for other important roles.

Dr Dasari says, “These artistes would be given a screen test at Ramoji Film City from October 5. Those who qualify the screen test would be given training in action, diction, dance and other such activities for about a month. After giving a thorough training, the unit would go to sets and the film would start running and we are not going to do anything hurriedly. Already six songs have been recorded under the music direction of Keeravani." The film is being presented by Dasari Padma while K Ramakrishna Prasad is producing the film on the banner of Siri Media Pvt Ltd.
