Allu's Bride: Uma Mehra or Sohan Singh?

Allu Arjun is playing the hero in Varudu. Of course, he is playing the role of a bridegroom but who is playing the bride. This question continues to remind in the minds of audiences. Surprisingly, the entire publicity campaign of the film is being undertaken with the hero alone and the film unit is maintaining utmost secrecy without revealing her photo and name.

However, gossips are making rounds that the heroine"s name is Uma Mehra or Sohan Singh. Some others predict that concealing the heroine"s name and photo is part of publicity campaign. Explaining about the heroine, director Gunasekhar says, "As the story demanded we kept the heroine in suspense. It is not at all a new technique of publicity campaign. Several predictions are being made by various web sites and channels, but all of them are just predications. It would be nice only after watching the bride on the screen."
