Kiran Rathod to do item number

Shooting of Swarna Manjali directed by Indra and produced on the banner of Kumaraswarmy Creations was formally launched in Annapurna Studios recently. Vishnu is making his debut as hero, while Amruta Valli is playing the female lead opposite him.

Senior director Samudra gave the clap, another senior director Sagar switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised under the honorary direction of cameraman Srinivasa Reddy. Speaking on the occasion, Indra says, "It is a different subject. We will shoot the film in Vuyyuru. The regular shooting of the movie would begin in the next two days. Kiran Rathod was asked to do a special song."

Hero Vishnu says, "I played in many serials and not new to the camera. However, this is my debut performance on a big screen and I am playing the hero for the first time. I wish the film would earn me a good name."

Story is by Appaji while KS Arjun, Kodali Rajkumar, Gubba Amaresh, Gummadi Srinivas, Jaganmohan and K Chandu are the co-producers of the movie.
