Kotimooka of AVS begins shoot

Krishnudu and Shraddha Arya are playing the lead in Kotimooka directed by popular comedian AVS and produced by Venkat Jagadish on the banner of Tulasi Pujita Films. The film had launched its shooting in Annapurna Studios recently. Senior producer Dr D Ramanaidu gave the clap, while C Kalyan, president of South India Film Chamber of Commerce, switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised under the honorary direction of MAA president Muralimohan.

Earlier, noted producer SV Krishna Reddy and producer K Achireddy handed over the script to the director and producer of the film. Speaking on the occasion, AVS says, “Though I had directed three films, they gave me a satisfaction as a director but were not commercially successful. Now, I concentrate on the commercial success, while directing the movie. Janardhana Maharshi gave a very good script and dialogues, while Manisharma gave melodious tunes to all the songs. So far we have recorded five songs and of them, we remixed an old classic, 'Voohalu Gusa Gusalaade…". The speciality in the song is that the song was rendered by Ghantasala"s son Ratnakumar. As for the story, it is a fight by the hero with a group of people against a character like Ravana. The film would give a complete entertainment for two and a half hours. We are planning to complete the shooting in a single schedule that would span between 24 to 55 days."

Producer Jagadish says, “I jumped into the film industry from advertising with Kotimooka. I love comedy and hence ventured into the film industry with this movie." Krishnudu says, “For the first time, I am playing the hero in a complete commercial film."
