and

sold

Charitra

and
Vivek
Oberoi,

simultaneously
made
in
Hindi,
Tamil
and
Telugu
languages.
The
film
has
also
set
a
record
in
the
overseas
even
before
the
release
as
the
Tamil
version
was
sold
for
a
record
Rs
4.5
crore,
thus
making
it
the
highest
paid
Surya
film
overseas.
As
already
known
by
all,
Rakta
Charitra
is
based
on
the
real
life
story
of
Paritala
Ravi,
who
was
the
prime
suspect
in
several
murder
cases.
The
movie
has
come
under
many
controversies
even
before
the
release
and
there
was
a
great
furore
among
a
group
of
people
regarding
it.
