Tapasee's navel irks Censor Board

By Sampurn Wire

The Censor Board has suggested to delete a scene from upcoming Telugu film Vastadu Naa Raju as it revealed a little too much of actress Tapasee. Her navel shot has proved to be too much for the censor board and they have reportedly told the makers of the film that it is not fit for public viewing.

The scene which was asked to be deleted from the film is part of a song and dance sequence that was shot in Venice in Italy. The producers of the film are reportedly miffed by the verdict of the Censor Board because a huge amount of money had been spent in the filming of the song.

Vastadu Naa Raju also stars Vishnu Manchu opposite Tapasee. The actor says that the decision taken by the censor board has surprised him as the scene was nothing close to vulgar. In fact several such shots are shown in almost every Telugu film, says that actor.

The decision comes as a surprise to the Telugu film industry, where explicit content in films is very common.
