Prema Charitra in post-production works

Kamal Hassan and Sarita played the lead roles in an ever-green classic film Maro Charitra. The film proved that the audiences would make a film a big hit even though it has a tragic climax. Now, another love story is coming up with the same title, with Varun Sandesh and Anita in the lead roles with Shraddha Das as another heroine. The film was directed by popular cinematographer Ravi Yadav, while it was produced by Dil Raju, Sirish and Lakshman on the banner of Matinee Entertainments.

Producer Dil Raju says, “The word 'love" has some mesmerism in it. That is why films with love in their backdrop would always be novel. The earlier classic 'Maro Charitra" had equally impressed, those who fell in love, those who succeeded in love as well as those failed in love. We remade the film by making necessary changes to suit the present generation audiences and we are sure that our film would also give a nice feel to the audiences. Mickey J Meyer scored tunes for the film. There is a very good and positive response to the audio, which was released into the market." Kota Srinivasa Rao, Pratap Pothan, Urvasi, Talaivasal Vijay, Janaki and others are in the cast.
