Akhil Akkineni, son of Nagarjuna, has been included in the Telugu Warriors for the inaugural Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) T20. Vishnu Manchu, the owner of the team, has confirmed the news and has said that his inclusion has strengthened the team.

Telugu Warriors' captain Venkatesh, and his teammates Siddharth, Akhil, Tarun, Srikanth, Balakrishnan, Vishnu and Aadarsh are undergoing rigorous training under the guidance of coach Vanka Pratap in a resort in Hyderabad.
