filmmaker
Dasari
Narayana
Rao,
died
today
morning
(Friday,
28th
October)
following
a
brief
illness.
The
65-year-old
producer,
who
is
survived
by
her
husband,
two
sons
and
a
daughter,
was
admitted
to
a
private
hospital
last
Tuesday
due
to
lung
infection.
Dasari
Padma
had
produced
all
directorial
ventures
of
her
husband
Narayana
Rao
under
different
banners
like
Tarakaprabhu,
Dasari,
Cine
Chitra
and
Sowbhagya
International.
Sivaranjani,
Osey
Ramulamma
and
Megha
Sandesam
are
some
of
the
major
films
to
her
credit.
The
Telugu
producer
had
a
love
marriage
with
Dasari
Narayana
Rao
and
had
also
helped
him
during
his
bad
days
in
the
film
industry.
Like
her
husband,
Dasari
Padma
had
joined
the
Congress
party
and
had
served
as
president
of
women's
wing
of
the
Congress
party
in
Tamil
Nadu.
However,
her
sudden
death
has
created
big
vied
in
both
politics
and
film
industry.
