Hansika joins businessman Mahesh Babu

Hansika Motwani, who is on cloud nine after the success of recently released Kandireega, has bagged a biggie to her kitty. The actress, who is busy filming upcoming movie Oh My Friend, has reportedly signed Mahesh Babu's next film The Businessman.

If reports are to be believed, Hansika Motwani has been roped in to play the second lead role in The Businessman. Puri Jagannath has offered her a meaty role in the forthcoming Telugu film, which also features Kajal Aggarwal in the main female lead role. The actress is reportedly playing a negative character in the movie.

Meanwhile, the shooting of The Businessman, which was launched recently, has been started in Hyderabad. The action-thriller is jointly produced by Puri Jagannath and RR Venkat on the banner RR Movie Makers.
