Meera Chopra gets second reminder in murder case

Actress Meera Chopra, who is the co-accused in murder case of a Guragaon-based woman, is missing from the day she was dragged into the case. The actress, who is a cousin of Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, has been sent second reminder by the Gurgaon cops after she failed to respond for their first.

Gurgaon Police commissioner S S Deswal has said that Meera Chopra did not turn up for their first summon. Hence, they have sent second reminder. Failing to respond could lead to an arrest warrant against the actress, warns the cop.

Meera Chopra is co-accused in the murder case of Ruchi Bhuttan, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her DLF City house on July 5. It is allegedly that the actress had an affair with prime accused Sumit Bhattan. The victim's sister alleges that Sumit killed Ruchi and hanged her on the ceiling. She adds that the accuse had an extra-martial affair with Meera Chopra.
