Prakash Raj has finally decided to release his long-awaited film Gaganam on February 4. The bilingual film starring Nagarjuna and Prakash Raj in lead roles was supposed to hit the screens during Diwali 2010, but remained inside cans due to some reasons. Now, as the makers have found February to be the favorable time, they have decided to get it released by the first week.
Titled as Gaganam in Telugu, the bilingual movie is directed by Radha Mohan. For the first time, the director is making an action-thriller as his previous films were rom-com entertainers. The film revolves around a domestic flight Mumbai-Chennai hijacked by terrorists. Nagarjuna plays the role of a commando and Prakash Raj plays a senior bureaucrat's role.
The movie is also simultaneously being made in Tamil as Payanam. The movie has Devi Sri Prasad's music and KV Guhan's cinematography. It also features Poonam Kaur, Sana Khan, Brahmanandam, Bharath Reddy and others.
