Ram Gopal Varma introducing Lakshmi Manchu to Bollywood

Ram Gopal Varma has introduced many South Indian faces to Bollywood. Be it Surya or Sudeep, the filmmaker has always tried to present the regional talents to the Hindi films with suitable roles. Now, the director is all set to launch actress-turned-host Lakshmi Manchu in B-town.

The ace filmmaker has recently signed Lakshmi Manchu for one of the key roles for his upcoming Bollywood film Department. It was rumoured that Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut was also one of the contenders to pair up Sanjay Dutt. But it was the Telugu actress, who sealed the deal in the end. The movie also features Rana Daggubati.

Lakshmi Manchu has confirmed the news on Twitter without revealing the name of the film.“Signed a Bollywood film. Superrrr thrilled! Details soon. Thankq for all ur love. Dreams do come true." She wrote

It may be recalled that multi-facet Lakshmi Manchu was reportedly in talks with Bollywood filmmaker Rakesh Roshan for the key role in Krrish 3. Though, she was not considered for the female lead role, yet it was said that the director had promised her to give a meaty role in the film.
