As
we
reported
earlier,
Salman
Khan
will
star
in
the
remake
of
bilingual
film
Kanchana.
The
actor
has
given
his
nod
to
act
in
the
proposed
project,
thereby
he
has
continued
his
recent
trend
of
taking
successful
South
movies
to
Bollywood.
Salman"s
brother
Sohail
Khan
has
admitted
that
the
Dabangg
star
will
act
in
the
Hindi
version
of
Kanchana.
He
says
that
their
planned
film
Sher
Khan
has
been
postponed.
Hence,
they
are
taking
up
this
movie.
It
is
reported
that
Sohail
himself
will
direct
the
film.
The
Hindi
version
of
Kanchana
will
reportedly
take
off
in
December
and
will
be
released
for
2012
Eid.
Other
details
about
the
project
are
under
wraps.
It
may
be
recalled
that
Salman
Khan
has
recently
remade
successfully
Telugu
movies
like
Pokkiri,
Ready,
Vikramarkudu
and
currently
he
is
busy
in
the
remake
of
Kick.
However,
despite
getting
poor
reviews,
Kanchana
has
become
one
of
the
hits
of
2011.
The
story
of
the
film
is
about
an
Achluophobic
patient,
who
accidentally
lands
in
a
devil's
trap.
The
movie
starred
Raghava
Lawrence,
Sarath
Kumar
and
Lakshmi
Rai
in
the
lead
roles.
