Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Vivek Oberoi in mythological film

Mythological stories seem to be slowly attracting the filmmakers in the Telugu film industry again. After Bapu's Sri Rama Rajyam, now K Raghavavendra Rao, who is known as a master director in devotional films, is all set to wield the megaphone for upcoming Telugu movie, which is based on the Ramayana.

The filmmaker, who has directed devotional blockbusters like Annamayya, Sri Manjunatha, Sri Ramadasu and Pandurangadu, is planning to rope in the Bollywood big stars for the multilingual film. Actors Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi for the important roles and South actor Mohan Babu has been signed to play the role of demon king Raavan.

The movie is produced by Vishnu Babu. Talking about the cast, he claims that the casting process is yet to begin but talks are on with top stars. On the technical front, he is planning to collaborate with the world famous Weta Digital, a five-time Academy Award winning visual effects company.
