All is not well with Shruti Hassan. The actress seems to be on a losing spree, as she has missed two big banner movies in succession. After Junior NTR's Dammu, she has lost yet another biggie. Well, the Anaganaga O Dheerudu gal has been thrown out of Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh.
Reports say that the makers of Gabbar Singh were worried about her career going downhill with every flop movies to her credits. Producer Ganesh, who is making the forthcoming Telugu movie with the budget of Rs 40 crore, reportedly felt that the movie requires an A list actress to play the female lead role.
In a bid to give a large appeal, the makers of the film have unanimously decided to replace her with a top actress from the South. Hence, they dropped Shruti Hassan from Gabbar Singh. However, the hunt for the suitable actress is on and they are expected to finalise in the coming days.
Gabbar Singh is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg. The Telugu version features Abhimanyu Singh, Ajay, Suhasini Maniratnam, Brahmanandam and others in the cast. The movie is directed by Harish Shankar.
