Sonu Sood refuses to become Chedi Singh again

Sonu Sood has become not only popular in Bollywood but also in Tollywood. He has become a first choice for villain roles in all leading language films. Considering his popularity and his much-famed role of Chedi Singh in Dabangg, he was approached to portray the same character in Gabbar Singh, a remake of Salman Khan starrer movie but he has refused the offer.

The 38-year-old, who was recently seen in Kandireega, has turned down the offer to repeat the same role in Gabbar Singh. Though, the actor's reasons for turning down the offer are yet to be revealed, reports claim that due to date issues, he opted out of the upcoming Telugu movie. Interestingly, he is currently doing the same role in the Tamil version of Dabangg, which is named Osthi.

Meanwhile, the makers of Gabbar Singh have started searching for suitable face for the villain role in Gabbar Singh. Sources say that the movie bosses are planning to cast Prakash Raj in the role famous made by Sonu Sood. However, the movie directed by Harish Shankar alos features Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Hassan in the lead roles.
