Tamanna pairs up with Prabhas in Rebel

We have recently reported that Tamanna Bhatia was stepping into the shoes of Anushka Shetty in Rebel. Now, it has been confirmed by the makers of the film that the former is pairing up Prabhas in the upcoming Telugu film.

The makers of the film say that Prabhas and Tamanna Bhatia's combo would appeal the mass audience. They have pinned high hopes on the actors' chemistry on-screen considering recent success of both the stars. It may be recalled that Anushka Shetty was the first choice for the female lead role but she walked out recently over alleged spat with director Raghava Lawrence.

The first schedule of the shooting will start from September 15, in Hyderabad. Soon, the film unit will go to Bangkok to shoot a few songs of Rebel and some scenes.

Rebel is produced by J Bhagavan and J Pulla Rao on the Sri Balaji Cine Media banner. Raghava Lawrence directorial movie also features Deeksha Seth in the second female lead role. SS Thaman is scoring the music. Whereas, Ram Prasad is the cinematographer.
