After Kajal Aggarwal and Tapasee, now Vimala Raman is all set to make her debut in Bollywood. The actress has reportedly signed her first Hindi film, where she will be pairing Govinda in the film.
The 31-year-old actress, who has acted in all four South Indian languages, has been roped in for upcoming Bollywood film Afra Tafari. She will be joining the shoots from July 17. It is said that actor Sunil Shetty, who saw her during recently held Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), suggested her name for one of the female leads in the film.
Earlier, it was reported that Vimala Raman would be making her Bollywood debut in Ashutosh Gowariker's Amrapali but due to some reasons the proposed project was not materialized.
Afra Tafari is a situational comedy film, which features Govinda, Sunil Shetty, Arya Babbar, Gulshan Grover and Mugdha Godse in the cast. The movie is directed by Hadi Ali Abrar.
