Actress Samantha, who is one of the most sought after heroines in South India, has released her childhood pictures on her Twitter account. The Eega star, who is gearing up to release her latest movie Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu this Friday, has posted two pictures - one shows her look as a baby and another features her with her mother.
Elated Samantha took to her Twitter page to share her childhood photos with her fans. Besides posting a picture, the actress tweeted, "My mom finally found a pic of me as a baby.. No the karate kid isn't me." She posted another photo and wrote, "From the luk on my face I certainly wasn't a fan of the camera back then."

Samantha is born on April 28, 1987 to a Malayali mother and a Telugu father. She was brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and she is very fluent in the Tamil language. Despite her mixed regional background, Samantha has cited that she sees herself as a Tamilian.
Samantha has completed her schooling from Holy Angels Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, T Nagar. She has graduated with a Commerce degree from Stella Maris College, Chennai.
Samantha has two elder brothers namely David and Jonathan Prabhu. Jonathan works in the media industry and David works in a BPO. Samantha started her acting career with Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010.
In span of three years, Samantha has acted in more than 12 movies in different languages like Tamil and Telugu. After Eega success, she has been flooded with offers, but she has become very choosy and is making careful selection.
Samantha's all Telugu movies like Ye Maaya Chesave, Brindavanam, Dookudu and Eega have become super hit at the Box Office and she received lots of accolades for her performance in them.
Samantha has pinned lots of hope on her upcoming movie Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, which is slated to release on screens worldwide on December 14.
Samantha is currently busy with the shooting for her other projects like Autonagar Surya and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, which are most-awaited movies in Telugu.
Samantha, who has made a guest appearance Ekk Deewana Tha, is now all set to debut as heroine in Bollywood with the movie Assi Nabbe Poorey Sau.
