Adhinayakudu
starring
Nandamuri
Balakrishna,
Lakshmi

has
received
average
reviews

Balayya’s
performance,
action
and
comedy
sequences
and
music
are
the
highlights
of
the
movie.

NDTV
Its
production
values
are
low.
The
characters
look
like
nothing
more
than
a
sentient
rug.
Watch
Adhinayakudu
only
for
its
loud
costumes,
pedestrian
special
effects,
unintentional
hilarity,
rear
stall
hyperbole,
belly
buttons
-
and
because
you've
got
nothing
else
on
standby.
Oneindia
It
is
a
Balayya-mark
film
and
would
definitely
attract
his
fans.
No
doubt,
the
film
would
go
well
with
the
mass
audiences.
Hence,
it
will
be
a
commercial
success.
Watch
the
film
for
masala
entertainment,
but
not
for
a
decent
view.

The
movie
is
loaded
with
politically-charged
innuendos
aimed
at
all
and
sundry
—
Chiranjeevi,
YSR,
Jaganmohan
Reddy
and
even
Gabbar
Singh.
So
there's
plenty
in
it
to
appease
the
hardcore
fans.
The
rest,
however,
may
well
just
struggle
to
see
the
lighter
side.

Live
Adhinayakudu
is
more
a
family
drama
than
a
political
pot-boiler.
Minus
hyperbole,
ridiculous
stunts
and
over-the-top
melodrama,
'Adhinayakudu'
is
watchable
once,
with
the
proceedings
pepped
up
by
a
resurgent
Balakrishna.
Speaking
of
its
other
side,
the
film
could
have
done
better
with
a
more
interesting
plot
and
less
confusion.

In
the
absence
of
an
edge-of-the-seat
plot,
the
film
is
all
the
less
promising.
The
story
is
told
in
a
complicated
fashion
when
the
plot
was
quite
simple
and
oldish.
Adhinayakudu
draws
from
time-tested
stories
and
presents
its
own
rare
conflict
point.
Otherwise,
it
doesn't
deserve
special
mention.

Adhinayakudu
may
appeal
to
Balakrishna
fans
as
he
was
seen
in
three
different
getups.
There
were
few
dialogues
that
were
written
keeping
them
in
mind.
So
fans
would
pass
off
this
as
a
decent
film.
But
the
film
has
nothing
to
offer
for
other
sections
of
audience.
