Nandamuri
Balakrishna's
son
Mokshagna
recently
made
it
to
the
headlines
by
making
his
first
public
appearance
with
his
father
at
the
audio
launch
of
Srimannarayana.
But
just
weeks
after
the
event,
Mokshagna
is
back
in
the
news
and
that
is
for
all
wrong
reasons.
The
Banjara
Hills
police
are
said
to
have
seized
a
Tata
Safari
vehicle,
in
which
he
was
travelling
with
his
friends
after
a
weekend
party.
Times
of
India
reports
that
along
with
his
friends,
Mokshagna
was
returning
home
after
a
weekend
party
via
Road
No.
12
on
Sunday
night
(August
19).
As
a
part
of
their
crackdown
on
drunken
driving,
the
Banjara
Hills
police
detained
the
Tata
Safari,
in
which
five
other
youngsters
were
travelling.
According
reports,
the
Tata
Safari
vehicle
(AP
16
BK
1),
which
was
caught
by
traffic
inspector
K
Balakrishna
Reddy,
was
registered
under
the
name
of
Venkat
Sudhakar.
Mokshagna
and
his
friends,
who
were
waiting
for
another
vehicle,
reportedly
tried
to
avoid
the
media
glare
and
left
in
another
car.
However,
Venkat
Sudhakar
was
driving
under
the
influence
of
alcohol,
was
made
to
undergo
a
test
by
the
police.
He
was
proved
guilty
with
the
breath
analyzer
displayed
77
mg
of
alcohol
per
100
ml
of
blood
as
against
the
permitted
level
of
30
mg.
A
case
has
reportedly
been
registered
under
section
185
(A)
of
the
Motor
Vehicle
Act
and
the
vehicle
was
seized.
However,
Balakrishna
had
recently
announced
that
his
son
Mokshagna
would
debut
in
films
in
a
couple
of
years
after
completing
his
studies.
It
was
rumoured
that
to
bring
him
to
music
release
function
was
a
publicity
stunt
for
his
son.
But
unfortunately,
Mokshagna
has
created
a
bad
name
for
himself
with
this
incident.
